Lauren’s Team 2022 is fundraising for
Hi everyone! We have had to wait two years but finally we are back getting ready for the 20th Balmoral Burn on Sunday the 29th May. I am the Junior Ambassador for the Humpty Dumpty Foundation - a children’s charity that provides vital and often life-saving medical equipment in nearly 500 hospitals all over Australia. I am only 14 and I have already had 133 operations. I know better than anybody how important it is for our hospitals to have the very best equipment so that all the sick children in Australia can get better and go home to their families. At the last Balmoral Burn in 2019 I raised over $31,000 dollars. It’s the biggest single fundraising effort by any individual at the Balmoral Burn ever! I have nerve damage in my legs so it was really hard to make it up the big hill but I did it and every dollar I raised was used to buy life saving equipment for other sick children. This year, I want to try really hard to raise even more more money for the Humpty Dumpty Foundation. If you want to walk with me on the day you can join this page 'Laurens Team 2022'. Or you can help me to help other sick children by giving whatever you can using the 'Donate' button. You might want to donate $20 for the 20th Balmoral Burn or even $133 which is $1 for every one of my operations. Any donation big or small will make a difference. The more people that know about Humpty Dumpty Foundation, the greater their impact.
