The Dream Team

We have made a goal to get up the hill, whilst pushing our two girls Blake (almost 3) & Harlie (almost 1) in the double pram this year. Why?

Though I (Bree) have completed the Burn before, the great work that the Humpty Dumpty Foundation do did not become apparent to us until our youngest daughter Harlie became critically ill, soon after birth in May 2018.

Harlie had breathing difficulties soon after birth which developed into pulmonary hypertension. At 36 hours of life, she was transferred to the Royal North Shore NICU where she was cared for by their incredible team of nurses and doctors. Though the nurses and doctors were amazing, they may not have been as effective without the 100's of pieces of medical equipment that are donated to them through the Humpty Dumpty Foundation.

Sitting in the NICU for days on end, you start to notice some of the little details. Whilst looking around at the multiple pieces of equipment surrounding our little girl, it was not hard to notice all the little yellow badges bearing the Humpty logo. We felt so grateful that complete strangers had donated pieces of equipment that were literally saving our daughters life.

This is our turn to give back, and help children wards across the country with much needed medical equipment.
