Show your school spirit and as a team of four, take on the Hill to battle it out in our Head of the Hill.

Start getting your friends together. Registrations are open for 2022.

One of the most entertaining races to watch on race day is the Head of the Hill - Senior Boys & Girls Team Relay. Take on Awaba Street as a team and represent your school.

Challenge yourself, your schoolmates and compete against other high schools, or participate just for fun - all whilst making a difference to kids in hospital. Funds raised through school participation helps Humpty purchase life-saving medical equipment.

All four runners start at the bottom and wait for their turn to run the 420m race course. Dress up and have fun with your classmates, it is about participating and encouraging each other. Do your school proud!

The school with the highest and second highest number of team entries has the honour of deciding which piece of children’s medical equipment will be purchased from funds raised from the Head of the Hill race entry fees.

NEW RACE ADDED! Get your besties together and walk up the hill. Ask your teachers to join in the fun and enter the Head of the Hill Walk.

To celebrate the 20th year of the Balmoral Burn, participants will receive a commemorative 20th anniversary medal on event day.

Get involved and make every metre you run count!

For the first time, Humpty is giving your school the opportunity to show its philanthropic support and give back to communities through fundraising with the Interschool Challenge Cup.

For registered schools in the Balmoral Burn, participation in this fundraising challenge is made easy with your school’s very own fundraising page. Be proud of your association with the Humpty Dumpty Balmoral Burn and get students, teachers, parents, guardians, family, friends and the local community to support your school.

Will your school be number one on the Interschool Challenge Cup Leader Board? To keep motivation high, we will be rewarding the schools with the highest fundraising dollars. To help kick start your tally, all registration fees will go to your overall tally.

The school who places first on the Leader Board, has the honour in choosing $10,000 of life-saving medical equipment from Humpty’s Wish List to the hospital of their choice. The runner up can select medical equipment to the value of $4,000 to the hospital of their choice. We look forward to [insert school name] rising to the challenge!
